Tough 12 months. And like most of you, a holiday is what I’m craving, but we’ll have to wait a little longer. Delayed gratification is, I’m told, a powerful sensation, and I’m overwhelmed with anticipation for the feeling of sand on my toes and the sea breeze in my hair. For now, I’ll have to settle for podcasts and hot baths.
In the meantime, I’m beginning to unwind ahead of the festive period and plan on applying some holiday principles to my lockdown life: treating myself to good food, doing the things I truly enjoy, and connecting with loved ones (albeit virtually).
Wherever you are, enjoy the present moment, and stay safe.

No words needed.
This is The Waterman’s Cabin, a Scandinavian-inspired black-wood cabin - owned by Hinnerk - with bright interiors and a huge garden, a stone’s throw from a 12km-sandy beach.
“I wanted the house to be full of positive energy and laughter. I love that the space is open and inclusive, and perfect for groups to hang out together.”
