Hello, sunshine, you've got us excited for spring
We're planning our next escape to the most underrated part of the Baltic Coast, will you join us?

Like most of you, I'm longing for an escape from routine, an escape from the same four walls. From talking to our friends in the industry, I think it'll be mid-April before we can travel again, but I've booked something already (on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula - more details below) so I can begin to get excited. Where are you going to go first when the lockdown is over?
Sending warming energy, and here's to you this Sunday (don't forget to take a moment for yourself).

More than a trend: forest bathing, what is it and why you should do it.
Think about the last time you spent an afternoon in nature: we bet you noticed a significant improvement in your mood and outlook.
The term shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) originated in the 1980s in Japan, and means to “take in the forest atmosphere”.
Research shows frequent time spent in nature can counter illness by boosting your immune system.
So, go outside!
(Here are our places to forest bathe in Berlin.)
The most underrated part of the Ostsee.
Fischland-Darß-Zingst.
We love this gorgeous peninsula - between Rostock and Stralsund - because of its huge diversity of unspoilt nature, from forest and beaches to lagoons and meadows. This is a really wild place that allows us to switch off and just enjoy the simple things, like windy walks on the beach or quiet bike rides through the forest. It’s also an amazing place to observe wild animals, like red deer, eagles, otters and cranes.
What to do? On the blog, we've rounded up our favourite things to do. They include:
Watch the sunset from Weststrand
Sailing on a traditional Zeesboote
Hiking through the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft
Our recommended cabins and self-catering houses on Fischland-Darß-Zingst include:
The best German vineyards for natural wine.
An interview with 8greenbottles.
“Our German selection includes wines from the regions Baden, Pfalz, Rheinhessen, Nahe, Mosel and Franken," said founder Ramona. "We love them all!"
“At the moment, we are very excited about the Nahe (Rhineland-Palatinate). It used to be so difficult to even find natural wine in that region, but now there are two amazing female winegrowers who began making natural wine here in the last year: Glow Glow and Piri. We are very excited about their new vintages!”
