The holiday season is always a great time to slow down and reflect on the year gone by. After the pre-Christmas rush, a stillness seems to fall and there’s nothing better than lazy mornings and long walks in the forest.
Given the last year, slowness is greatly needed. I can barely comprehend everything that has happened. It’s certainly been a weird 12 months, but I’m applying a glass-half-full mentality, trying to pinpoint all the beautiful little moments amongst the madness.
Many of these moments are from mini-breaks with loved ones - swimming in the sea, eating raclette, dancing under the stars - so given that, I’m already booking my staycations for next year. Will you do the same?
Have a wonderful break, all; I hope it’s full of love.
