Take in the sun-soaked colours of summer
Where to go to make the most of Germany's warmer months
Escapism for the mind - your bi-monthly dose of Fernweh.
I’m off to walk beneath trees that are covered in bright green leaves and to dip my toes in cool lake water, so I’ll keep this short and sweet: the world outside is technicoloured and we should do everything we can to soak it up.
Here’s to little moments of magic, which is why this month’s newsletter is full of places and activities that will soothe your soul.

How to stargaze in Germany, and where to stay to do it
There are three exceptional places to stargaze in Germany: Naturpark Westhavelland (Brandenburg), Eifel National Park (NRW), and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Rhön (between Bayern, Hessen & Thüringen). These parks have been recognised (and are protected) by the International Dark Sky Association (IDA) as natural places with optimal stargazing conditions thanks to incredibly limited light pollution. Here, when it’s not cloudy(!), you can see the Milky Way with your bare eyes.
Where we’re dreaming of staying this summer
This is Chelsea - she’s been a member for more than a year.
I stayed at The Circus Hotel this summer, which I won through the Staycation Collection's giveaway. It was so exciting for me and my boyfriend to stay in a beautiful hotel and feel like tourists in our own city.
From the Staycation Collection, I am looking at booking the Volcanic Houses and the Müritz Water Tower for some weekend escapes later in the year.
